Chicago: Where Amazing Happens

Happy New Year! Just got back from a great trip to Chicago where I performed at an Asian Am conference. There was snow but more importantly lives were being changed by a message of amazing grace. Props to Dave Choi for challenging those of us who have been entrenched in the church and those who have rejected it to recognize God's gracious love. Nobody's perfect and nobody's unworthy of that love no matter how many mistakes someone makes.

Big thanks to my band, Jeff Ho (king of adapters), James Browne (the ampless guitar wonder), Jason Lingle (valiant effort in battling Only Won drums vs. beatbox) and to Matt Lonn for making my day with a hot dog run. Also special thanks to Vivian and the Grace Conference team. Shout out to our new friends, Lyricks, Manifest, DJ Zo, comedian PK, the Aklesia clothing gang, Parts Per Million and Christopher Yuan. Oh I can't forget about Only Won. It was the 1st major show we've done in tandem and we performed Cantonese Boy live for the 1st time. I'm so proud of him and look forward to more touring in 2010.
